Ground Zero Pricing Terms & Conditions
Rate Billing:
All rates are billed at 15 minute increments with a 1-hour minimum on all projects. Billable hours include (but aren't limited to) physical meetings and conference calls, as well as any study, background reading, and research time that pertains to work on your project (with the exception of first-time prospective clients).
Terms on Project-Based Billing:
All first-time prospective clients will receive one free initial consultation. Estimates are provided to the best of our ability following initial consultation and review. Final invoice is based on actual project costs. Differences greater than 25% will be discussed with the Client prior to completion of work. All work will commence upon receipt of a 1/3 retainer of total approved tasks approved credit, and a P.O. or Job number. A Purchase and/or Confidentiality Agreement will be furnished upon request. All estimates are based on expected time spent on itemized tasks by computing a page and transition cost. The estimate is used to determine the retainer and to give our clients an estimate within 10% of the target cost. Billing will occur on an ongoing basis every 15 days and computed by the hour. Hosting:
Ground Zero currently hosts 55 sites on our superior affiliate account with InMotion, the leader in serverside management. Our servers reside on 20 megabit fiber optic pipe located in Santa Monica, CA. We keep our billing simple by charging in one-year blocks. Please contact us for rates. We don't charge for friendly advice and showing you how to use your online tools that we provide. Setting up databases, transferring domains, pointing the DNS ourselves and the like - we will charge for that on an hourly basis, but we'll discuss any fees of that sort in advance with you.
Additional Expenses:
Any expenses incurred during the services are added to the billing, and you'll receive an invoice via email or fax at the end of the project (or monthly billing cycle, if you've purchased a monthly retainer). Payment of additional expenses is due upon completion of the project and prior to its delivery. (Expenses include purchases made on your behalf, special projects requiring outside printing or custom paper stock, postal and express shipping costs, etc.)
Work Agreements:
Before work begins, Clients receive a work agreement or estimate that outlines, in writing, the details of the project and includes a copy of Ground Zero client policies and terms. The Client then reviews, signs and returns the agreement or submits a Purchase Order to Ground Zero via email to begin the project.
Errors or Omissions:
Final proof reading is the responsibility of the client upon acceptance of the work delivered.
Rush, Weekend/Holiday Service:
"Rush service" of 24 hours or less or weekend and/or holiday service will be subject to a 25% surcharge. This fee is based on the project's final regular cost before the surcharge. Thank you for considering Ground Zero as your interactive solutions provider.
